After a long winding journey of following the stories in the Kingdoms of Westeros, "Game of Thrones" has finally reached an end. The internet has since been flooded with emotional farewells as well as angry rants to how the series wrapped up. No matter your opinion on how the finale turned out, we can all agree on how beautiful the women looked throughout the years of battling for the Iron Throne. Here are some hair tips that everyone of us can learn from the fierce women of Westeros:
1. FEELING FANCY? GO FOR CURLS!
Throughout the series, one of the biggest trends were soft curls. No matter Cersei Lannister or Margaery Tyrell, and even Gilly, Curls are always the go-to hairstyle when dressing up.
When going for curls using a curler or a flat iron, remember to always protect your hair from the heat. Using a heat protectant spray is a great ingredient to retain moisture and prevent your hair from damaged by the heat.
With natural curls, a great way to ensure a bouncy and soft curl is to use curl enhancing products that leave your hair smooth and voluminous.
2. BRAIDS FOR EFFORTLESS CHIC
We have all been amazed by the intricate braids in the show. However, Sansa and Daenerys have rocked single ropey braids that are incredibly easy to recreate, and perfect for an effortless chic everyday vibe!
With braids, it is crucial to be sleek and tidy. You don't want frizzy hair sticking out ruining your style! We recommend products packed with keratin to minimize frizz and add shine!
3. BE BOLD, GO PLATINUM
Platinum hair has been on trend for a long time, but one of the most iconic platinum hair on screen is the mother of dragons, Daenerys Targaryen. Want to make a statement? Go platinum!
Icy hair like this is notoriously hard to upkeep, both color wise and texture wise. Using the right purple shampoo and conditioner will help getting rid of brassiness easy while keeping your hair healthy and soft.
As sad as we are to let the series go, we're fortunate enough to get some great hair advice from our favorite characters! Which one will you be trying out?
