How to do an at home hair treatment

With salons shut down for the foreseeable future in many places throughout the United States, people are being forced to get creative when it comes to hair care and other salon treatments. We definitely don’t condone doing anything extreme like cutting your own bangs or trying to go blonde on a whim, but you can care for your hair until you’re able to hit the salon again with at-home hair treatment options. The ultimate bonding treatment from Luseta Beauty is designed to help restore your hair after it sustains damage from heat and extended periods of time without a trim. Here is how you do it:
STRIP YOUR HAIR OF ANY EXCESS PRODUCTS OR CHEMICALS
Before you begin a hair treatment you want to strip it of any excess products that might have built up over time. This will allow your hair to absorb all of the nutrients from the treatment to get the most out of it, while also removing any buildup that tends to happen over time. You’d be surprised by how much of your regular products stay in your hair even after they’ve been rinsed out, and recommend doing a rinse or cleanse to your hair once per week.
We recommend using a product like the apple cider vinegar bundle when you wash your hair one time per week to strip it of any leftover product from your other shampoo and conditioner. Once you’ve stripped your hair of the extra product, it’s ready for an at-home treatment.
DO IT WHILE YOUR HAIR IS DAMP
When your hair is wet the proteins in it form weaker bonds which lets it stretch and absorb products more easily. You should never put harmful chemicals like hair dye into your hair when it’s wet because it can leave it susceptible to damage, but if you add good products that will nourish and moisturize your hair when it’s wet then it will absorb all of those good ingredients at once and help repair your hair from existing damage.
USE THE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER REGULARLY
The ultimate bonding collection is designed to help your hair absorb moisture in a way that will repair it from damage sustained over time. Use the shampoo and conditioner regularly (while incorporating other products in between to assure that it doesn’t suffer from a buildup of other products that have been left behind).
INCORPORATE LIGHT HEAT
Once you’ve used the ultimate bonding shampoo and conditioner, apply a small amount of the ultimate bonding treatment product to your hair while it’s still damp and cover it with the included shower cap and let it be. Try adding light heat to it (from something like a hair dryer on a lower heat setting) to help the product set in and absorb into each strand of hair.
After you’ve left the ultimate bonding treatment in your hair for 30 minutes you can remove the shower cap and style your hair as usual. Leave the treatment in until your next wash, and use the rest of the treatment as needed. We recommend using it once per week for damaged hair, but you can use it more or less as you see fit.
